I’ve lived through some difficult chapters in life, including struggling with drug addiction. Finding a place like Positively U has been a blessing. Every time I come through your doors, I feel seen, respected, and cared for. Whether it's access to free HIV/STI testing, a clean set of clothes, something to eat, or just a hot cup of coffee, you offer more than the services you offer hope.
Your kindness and nonjudgmental support have helped me believe that better days are possible. You've created a space where people can feel safe, where dignity is restored, and where healing can begin.
Thank you for making a difference — not just in my life, but in the lives of so many others.
I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for the vital work your organization does in our community. Your commitment to providing free HIV and STI testing, as well as education and support services, plays an essential role in promoting public health and empowering individuals to take control of their well-being.
Access to compassionate, judgment-free care can make all the difference, and Positively U continues to set the standard for what community-based health outreach should look like. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and kindness you've shown me. Life hasn’t always been easy—I've battled addiction and faced hard times—but coming to Positively U has given me a sense of safety and belonging that’s hard to find.
Thank you for the free HIV and STI testing, but also for so much more. The clean clothes, the warm food, a hot cup of coffee, those things may seem small to some, but they’ve meant everything to me. Even just being able to charge my phone helps me stay connected and feel human again.
Your team treats everyone with respect and compassion, no matter what their situation. That makes a real difference. You give hope, dignity, and comfort in a world where those things can be hard to come by.
Thank you for being here—for being a light when things feel dark.

Through your efforts, individuals and families have found support, guidance, and hope when they need it most. The dedication and compassion your team consistently demonstrate are truly inspiring. It's clear that your work is driven by a deep sense of purpose and care for others.
Please know that your services do not go unnoticed. Your organization’s presence enriches our community in countless ways, and I am personally thankful for the difference you continue to make.
Wishing you continued success in your mission.
I just want to say thank you—from the heart—for everything you do.
As someone who has struggled with addiction and is currently living in a motel, your help has made a real difference in my life. Being able to come to Positively U for clean clothes, a hot meal, coffee might seem simple, but to me, it's everything. These things bring a bit of comfort and stability to days that are often uncertain.
I especially want to thank the ladies who work here. You’re all so kind, welcoming, and respectful. Your kindness reminds me that people still care, and that’s something I hold on to.
What you offer here is more than the services, you provide dignity, warmth, and hope. And for people like me, that means the world.
Janet Kitchen, founder of Positively U in Florida, doesn’t just talk the talk — she walks it. She employs people at a living wage, offers a space for PLHIV to receive access to life-saving treatment and care. A place to wash clothes, get something to eat, receive training, and walk a path toward empowerment. The moment I walked into Positively U, I was treated like family. That kind of love and leadership is rare.
My name is S. Wilson, I have been living with HIV for 26 years. HIV funding allows organizations like PositivelyU to exist. Positively U helps me with Food on a monthly bases. My only form of income is SSI and after paying rent and I don’t have much money left, the food assistance really helps me. The staff is very gentle and sensitive to my needs.
I am a living testament that with the proper treatment, folks living with HIV can live a long healthy life. Through Positively U I have been able to connect with other people that share a similar experience. We meet weekly on an empowerment call to encourage one another.
I am happy to call Positively U family and I am truly grateful. Its a Blessing from God to know someone still cares.Â
